What you’ll be doing

– Processing sales invoices
– Credit control and dealing with member queries
– Processing suppliers invoices and preparing the weekly payment run
– Processing expenses and business credit cards
– Bank reconciliations (weekly)
– Balance sheet reconciliations
– Assisting with monthly management accounts
– Understanding of preparation of accounts to Trial Balance
– Reconciling customer and supplier statements
– Assist in the development of systems and processes
– Performing ad-hoc duties


Who you are

– Good solid AR/AP experience
– Good knowledge of Xero would be advantageous
– Strong knowledge of Word and Excel applications
– Computer literate and numerate and be keen to develop bookkeeping and Accountancy
– 18-24 months experience in similar role or company
– Have experience working within a fast paced start-up environment
– Be quick to understand and adopt Second Home’s vision and future growth strategy, having the skills to add value from day one
– Have a great personality and a willingness to be a friendly, insightful and proactive member of a dynamic team
– Ideally the successful applicant will be studying toward AAT/ACCA/CIMA Qualification
