Second Home is a social business with a mission to support creativity and entrepreneurship. As the business’ Creative Designer, you’ll deliver high quality and forward-thinking work and ideas in accordance with the Second Home brand.
What you’ll do:
Assist the Art Director in creating branding, sales and marketing collateral – this could include corporate brochures, posters, signage, social content and logos etc.
Assist in the creation of digital design work, including display banners, website mock-ups and infographics.
Help to produce internal sales and marketing material to promote the business – this could be funding pitch decks, sales brochures etc
Liaise with departments to discuss their requirements – and help to resolve any issues related to the work produced
Ensure all artwork produced meets the needs, requirements and brand values of the business
Demonstrate a deep understanding of each business units brand, business, and objectives
Fulfill briefs to a required standing within budget and on time.
Champion best practice and always look to find new, better, more effective ways of working.
To liaise as required with external suppliers ensuring best fit and price for the business. e.g. photographers, printers.
Manage your time effectively – communicate the time needed to complete projects, and keep stakeholders up to date.
Maintain a high level of informed design knowledge
Proof and prepare collateral, so nothing goes out the door that’s not perfect.
Who you are:
Degree in graphics or visual communication
Good working knowledge of the whole Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop essential, After Effects is a nice to have)
A passion for creating stunning visuals for a range of clients
Strong organisational and communication skills
Up to date knowledge of the latest design trends
Creative flair and a good eye for detail
Strong portfolio which shows experience with a range of programs and materials
