Second Home was created to support creativity and entrepreneurship in cities around the world.

We are looking for a Junior People Advisor to oversee and be responsible for all aspects of the employee experience. You will be working with the Head of People to deliver the People strategy.

What you’ll be doing;

  • Manage the recruitment process across all of our London sites for Junior to Mid roles
  • Developing role descriptions, screening and sourcing candidates and optimising the recruitment journey from end-to-end
  • Experience with a variety of HRIS.
  • Manage and evolve the employee process & experience through processes and programmes that span across the employee lifecycle
  • Produce all employee documentation
  • Assist with scheduling all training dates, and following up to make sure everyone attends
  • Implement all People processes
  • Deliver a full on-boarding service including delivering impactful new starter inductions
  • Ensure payroll information is accurate and processed on time each month
  • Assist with creating a range of initiatives that are designed to build a sense of belonging and community
  • Be the go-to advisor for day to day People queries
  • Assist with our bi-yearly performance review cycles
  • Assist with a variety of ER cases including complex investigations, disciplinary or grievance hearings through to flexible working requests, absence and performance issues whilst coaching line managers on the process

Who you are;

  • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or higher)
  • Employment law knowledge
  • 3+ years of HR experience
  • Employee relations experience
  • Sense of humour
  • Extremely motivated and organised
  • Adaptable and thrives with variety and change
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Calm and patient under pressure
  • Proactive and assertive
  • Persistent, excellent attention to detail and hard-working
  • Clear communicator
  • IT skills – Laptop setup (advantageous but not essential)

Salary expectations for this role range between £25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience
