Join us for a special screening of Blow Up di Blow Up – Valentina Agostinis' fascinating documentary on the making of Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1966 masterpiece.

Reconstructing the director's experience of shooting in swinging London, the film contains interviews with Antonioni’s former dialogue assistant Piers Haggard, celebrated photographer David Montgomery – in whose studio Antonioni learnt about fashion photography, and model Jill Kennington, who took part in Blow up’s most famous sequence.

Those iconic studio scenes featuring Jill were in fact shot in our building on Prince's Place, which used to be home to famous fashion photographer John Cowen, making it an important landmark of London's Swinging Sixties.

Find out more in the post-screening discussion with filmmaker Valentina Agostinis and celebrated biographer of London Iain Sinclair.

Tickets are free for members and £3 for non-members.

All proceeds from our cultural programme at Holland Park will be donated to The Rugby Portobello Trust who support programmes set up in response to the fire at Grenfell Tower.
