Best selling author Michael Pollan discusses the spellbinding story of his life-changing psychedelic experiences with science writer Zoe Cormier.

Michael’s new book – How To Change Your Mind is a brilliant and brave investigation into the therapeutic effects of psychoactive drugs.

A unique blend of science, memoir and travel writing that is by turns dazzling and edifying, How To Change Your Mind is a gripping account of the author’s journey to an exciting new frontier in our understanding of the mind, the self, and our place in the world.

Michael will be discussing his work and the experiences that informed it with journalist Zoe Cormier – author of Sex, Drugs and Rock n’ Roll: The Science of Hedonism and the Hedonism of Science.

Tickets are free for members and £3 for non-members.

All proceeds from our cultural programme go to the Kibera Hamlets School in Nairobi, where Second Home has funded the construction of a new school building designed by our architects Selgas Cano.
