What is the relationship between the physical and the digital in spaces of artistic production?

This question informs the Hackpad discussion, a conversation between international participants that takes place on an online, collaborative, real-time text editor.

Contributors include artists Lina Hermsdorf and Zheng Bo, architect and curator of the British Pavilion at the 15th Venice Architecture Bienniale, Shumi Bose, and Serpentine Curator of Digital Ben Vickers.

As a live response to the Hackpad conversation artist Luli Perez will set up a graphic exchange with Second Home architects, SelgasCano studio in Madrid. Taking place via an online platform, this bilingual exchange will be expressed through the movements of their bodies in the two spaces, Second Home and SelgasCano studio.

This is part of an Itinerant Assembly event staged simultaneously at Second Home, Gasworks in Vauxhall and Green Rooms artist hotel.

Itinerant Assembly is curated by Alice White, Chloe Hodge, Hannah Zafiropoulos, Rosie Hermon, Tiffany Leung and Xiaoyi Nie as part of the Curating Contemporary Art programme Graduate Projects 2017, Royal College of Art, working in partnership with Gasworks.

This is a free event, open to all.
