Andrew Park (Director of Cognitive) is the brilliant visual communicator behind RSAnimate – an animation series that gleaned more than 80 million views, the History of Ideas BBC Radio 4 animation series, and the animations that accompanied this year’s Reith Lectures by Stephen Hawking. He has also started illustrating new stories for Radio 4’s Today programme. He is passionate about communicating ideas through visual storytelling.

For this event at Second Home, as well as showing some of his animations, he will be sharing his insights into visual communication with philosopher Nigel Warburton (who wrote the History of Ideas scripts).

Nigel Warburton is a freelance philosopher and podcaster, best known for being the main interviewer for the Philosophy Bites podcast and as author of the bestselling A Little History of Philosophy.
