Second Home x Patrisse Cullors
To mark the unveiling of her latest art installation at Second Home Hollywood, Patrisse Cullors, artist, abolitionist and Co-Founder of Black Lives Matter will be hosting a night celebrating black art – with special guests Curator & Creative Director Autumn Breon, Music Artist & Entrepreneur Damon Turner and Visual Artist Oto-Abasi.
Although the preview night is an intimate private event, we’ll be releasing a video of all the talks and performances – sign up to our Cultural Newsletter to see it first.
Patrisse’s art piece ‘Harriet’ was inspired by a Harriet Tubman quote she referenced from the bible – ‘I go to prepare a place for you’. It will be permanently exhibited at Second Home Hollywood and open for the public to view in our Paul Williams Building – named after the pioneering architect who designed it and the first African American inducted into the American Institute of Architects.
