An Introduction to Coding

Product Developer at Decoded – Olivia Frost – will talk about what code is, how it is used and how you can harness your new understanding of it to excel in business.

Olivia left a career in the construction industry to study software development at Makers Academy and she is now focusing on the development of Decoded’s Data Fellowship and in-house presentation platform.

In this session Olivia will talk about how to use different technologies such as HTML, CSS and Javascript and demystify the technical jargon of the coding world to help increase your understanding of the digital world.

Our member-only Be Better programme is designed to get people sharing their skills and knowledge, so that everyone in the community can be better (or even better!) when it comes to work and life.

These informal sessions include business masterclasses, self-improvement workshops and roundtable discussions.
