Corey Wash is a 27 year old multidisciplinary artist from Baltimore working across a diverse range of media. Mediums include illustration, paintings, installations, set design, film and more.
Wash makes work that explores the ideas evolving around environment, culture and identity. While much of her work is autobiographical, Wash’s go to character Willoughby is the voice behind her bold cartoons that expose threats such as misogyny, racism, poverty and more.
In Corey’s class, she will teach techniques that enhance your style, speak on how to find your voice through different mediums and how to complete a series of work. Materials needed: whatever you draw or paint with.
This is a virtual workshop hosted on Zoom.
