A special Sunday Caribbean with Shelly Belly's, masters of the jerk drum and original purveyors of Caribbean street food in London.

THE JERK
48-hr pimento and scallion marinated chicken smoked to perfection in a traditional jerk drum. Served with ripe plantain pan-fried in organic coconut oil, roast potatoes and drum-roasted corn and jerk gravy.

CURRY GOAT
Prime, free-range mutton leg and shoulder prepared to our family recipe. Served with ripe plantain pan-fried in organic coconut oil, roast potatoes and drum-roasted corn and jerk gravy.

ACKEE & CALALLOO (VEGAN)
Seasoned ackee fruit, stir-fried vegetables with steamed baby spinach and callaloo. Served with your choice of traditional boiled provisions or rice and peas, roast potatoes and drum-roasted corn and jerk gravy.

DESSERTS
Hallelujah Pudding (vegan). £8
A heavenly mix of Jamaican sweet potato, coconut milk and our heirloom spice and essence blend. Served warm with plant-based @BlackMilqIceCream.

The KERB Bar will also be there to provide some refreshing beverages to wash down your lunch!

This event is part of our Bass in the City Weekend – celebrating the influence of Caribbean culture on life in London featuring screenings, discussions, food, drinks, creative workshops and music from Reggae Roast sound system.

Bass in the City is part of Second Home's City Life Festival. Running throughout October, the festival will explore the relationship between urban spaces, communities and identities and champion London as a place of inclusivity and diversity.
