Phil Douglas (b. 1998) is an emerging contemporary queer figurative artist living in London. He predominantly works in pencil from life, drawing models in his home studio in Hampstead. While his work echoes classical academic life studies, it is more than a mere homage—he transcends tradition with an intimate informality, celebrating the sensitivity of the often-taboo male nude.
