In partnership with DocLisboa, skater, visual artist and filmmaker Miguel Faro will screen his debut and award–winning short–film, Downhill, ahead of an informal conversation with the Director himself.
Miguel Faro made his debut as a director in Doclisboa’16, with Downhill – a largely skateboard-mounted view of Lisbon streets.
The film premiered at Doclisboa in the festival’s Portuguese Competition Section and was awarded the Jornal Público Award for Best Short-Film, in 2016.
His most recent works were featured in the collective exhibition “What I Am”, held at the MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology, in Lisbon.
