Fast Forward 2030 is a network of entrepreneurs who believe that in order to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), entrepreneurs need to incorporate them into their business models.
This event will explore Sustainable Development Goal 2 – to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture.
Our panellists will discuss the problems in this area, how their business initiatives are aiming to tackle them, what's missing from society's current attempts to achieve this goal, and whether imaginative businesses can make achieving SDG 2 more likely.
We'll be hearing from:
Will Wells – founder of Hummingbird Technologies, a company that uses drones and AI to give farmers sophisticated insights on crop health
Iseult Ward – founder of FoodCloud, which connects businesses with surplus foods to local charities
Carolyn Steel – architect and expert on the relationship between food and cities.
Q&A, drinks and networking will follow the discussion.
