Forbes magazine called Sekou Andrews the “the de facto poet laureate of corporate America.”

Sekou has won two National Poetry Slam championships, was nominated for the 2021 grammy nomination, and released two critically-acclaimed CDs that earned him the title of most awarded artist in the nation’s largest independent music organization.

He has shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, Jay-Z, Carlos Santana, Kendrick Lamar, and Maroon 5. As a talented artist, Sekou has performed at Pasadena Pops Orchestra, the 2009 Inaugural Peace Ball, and private events for Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Maya Angelou, Hillary Clinton, and Quincy Jones.
