In this session, EY’s People Advisory Service team, Jonathan Crookham and Sarah McMaster, will talk about how to attract and retain top talent through Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) share options – a popular tax-advantageous arrangement for fast-growing companies.

Jonathan is a qualified solicitor with over five years of experience in advising companies on employee share plans and Sarah is a qualified solicitor with over fifteen years of experience advising companies on employee share plans, executive remuneration and related employee tax and mobility.

In this talk they will discuss the pros and cons of offering employees cash, shares and share options, cover the practical considerations to think about setting up a share option scheme and outline the requirements that need to be met in order to offer EMI share options.
