Kick Back Cinema (KBC) had a fantastic return last time, and now we’re excited to bring you even more!
Join your host, Iara Borges, on October 31st at 7pm for the 5th Kick Back Cinema event ‘The Investigation’, sponsored by Moatwood Gin. It’ll be an evening filled with a fantastic selection of thriller/horror short films. 3 of those films have been paired with a signature cocktail, created by our mixologist using Moatwood Gin. As an audience member, you will have to do your best detective work to figure out what aspect of the movies inspired the cocktail.
Kick Back Cinema aims to focus on sharing stories from around the world, showcasing a multitude of different genres. Iara began KBC at the start of lockdown as a way to explore and discuss films and in the process, create friendships during a lonely time. What originally started off as a wanting for community during lockdown has in time become these evenings of film and conversation. Kick Back Cinema’s main focus has always been community, we love to get to know our audiences!
