Marie Jacotey: Sweaty Nights

Libreria is delighted to present Sweaty Nights: an exhibit of mainly new works by artist Marie Jacotey in collaboration with poet Rachael Allen.

Set in the borgesian bookshop that is Libreria, Sweaty Nights explores in context the time honoured themes of art, literature and love.

At once defying and embracing the legacy of poetic song, both artists have responded to the project with playful, comic wit expressed in picture and verse.
