Summer Supper Club With Sophie Wyburd

Cook, recipe writer, presenter and I’ll Have What She’s Having podcast co-host Sophie Wyburd is coming to Second Home Spitalfields for a mega, one-night-only summer supper club this August. From her time spent heading up the food team at Mob to running her own projects, Sophie is all about feeding people hearty comfort food, so you can be sure when she cooks you a meal, you leave happy and full.

For our supper club, Sophie’s whipping up a bangin’ summer feast including:

• Anchovy & charred pepper toasts
• Burnt aubergine, smoked chilli & ricotta dip
• Summer chicken & greens pie, using HG Walter free-range chicken
• Sesame butter potatoes
• Charred bean & tomato salad
• Apricot & almond meringue party

HG Walter, the independent family-run butcher that supplies some of the top restaurants and chefs in the country, will be providing the chicken for Sophie’s supper club. The Cornish Red chickens come from Adlington in the West Midlands and are fully free range as well as being slow-reared, making these some seriously sensational birds – perfect for Sophie’s summer chicken pie.
