Cultural spaces are integral to civic life, but they exist in many forms. Join architectural agency This by That and Second Home for a conversation about the architecture of art: how design for cultural spaces is informed, the importance of community spaces for art, and how to approach designing or dismantling spaces, whether physical or conceptual, in order to support challenging art and dialogue, and make access more inclusive. Panelists include John K. Chan, founder and principal of Formation Association; designer and curator Kate Yeh Chiu, director of Materials & Applications and faculty at USC; Zeina Koreitem, co-founder and principal of MILLIONS Architecture; and architect and curator Priscialla Fraser, former Executive Director of the MAK Center for Art and Architecture. The discussion will be moderated by Honora Shea, co-founder of This by That.
