The Glass Wall
01 Feb 2017
Join us to hear the CEO of Pearl & Dean, Kathryn Jacob, and Chief Strategy Officer of MediaCom, Sue Unerman, give their insights on smashing glass walls in the workplace.
Unerman and Jacob have recently written a new book, The Glass Wall, observing how men and women are separated by divisions of culture and language that are holding women back in their lives and careers.
They have decades of experience forging stellar careers in male-dominated industries. In this talk, the authors will share their ideas on the importance of unlocking ambition and being resilient, to nurturing your creativity and being noticed.
‘Fantastic to see a book with such practical experience and common sense at its heart.’
Martha Lane Fox, Baroness Lane-Fox of Soho
‘It is so important to empower other women and that is exactly what this book does. It gives women practical advice to help them navigate their careers and, ultimately, design their own life.’
Diane von Furstenberg
