Join us at Second Home for an inspiring event with Rebecca Ajulu-Bushell, a former elite athlete who made history as the first Black woman to swim for Great Britain. Rebecca, a former British Champion and world number one, has been recognised in Forbes 30 Under 30 for Social Impact and TIME’s list of influential Black leaders. As the CEO of the 10,000 Interns Foundation, she is dedicated to championing underrepresented talent and creating more inclusive opportunities.

This event coincides with the release of her much-anticipated book, These Heavy Black Bones, on June 6th, where she chronicles her groundbreaking swimming career. With a rich background that includes a Fine Art degree from the University of Oxford and an award-winning documentary, Rebecca will share her insights on breaking barriers and the power of resilience. Attendees will leave inspired to reflect on their own paths and ambitions.
