Libreria & Second Home present Veranda, a monthly series of poetry & spoken word events, to showcase some of the freshest literary talent from London.
To kick off the autumn, the first event of this series will be an intimate evening of poetry based on the broad theme of love.
This event will be in line with Black History Month and will be celebrating three headline poets who will perform already existing work alongside new work written in response to a text that is in line with the theme of the evening.
October's features are Kayombo Chingonyi, Josette Joseph & a special appearance from 2009 Mercury Prize winner, Speech Debelle.
There will be an open mic section which audience members can sign up for 30 minutes before the event starts. Open mic slots will last up to five minutes with only five available.
