Frei Otto inspired. The facade of our London Fields Home is truly something to behold.
It was inspired by much-loved German architect and engineer Frei Otto, who pioneered ground-breaking research techniques into creating more natural looking (and feeling), structural forms. Forms that make spaces more beautiful and environmentally playful.
One of Frei Otto’s experiments involved creating models based on the curvature of soap bubbles. And you’ll find echoes of this work in our undulating surface, bringing in natural light, while providing a level of privacy.
So the next time you’re wondering by, stop and have a look at the playfulness of our facade. It just might lift your mood.
