We're doing everything we can to help members get back to business safely, when they're ready to do so.


Following the UK Government’s advice, our London Homes will be open for members from Monday 18th May.

 

We’ve made changes at Second Home so our workspaces are safe and Covid-Secure for our members, with new social distancing, cleaning and access measures.

 

We’re following and monitoring the UK Government’s advice and guidelines closely and will continually review these as the advice develops so that Second Home is a safe environment for you and your team.

 

So if you’re ready to get back to it, we are too.

Our Covid-Secure changes:

  • We’re opening initially on reduced core hours while we start to understand Member needs and how you will accessing Second Home. As more of our Members come in, we will amend our opening hours to accommodate staggered work times as recommended by the UK Government.

 

  • We’ve introduced social distancing measures and are utilising all the available space in our Homes to give Members more room to work safely.

 

  • All our Homes have contactless entry systems.

 

  • We’ve increased the frequency of our cleaning across our Homes, with an intensive daily cleaning programme, and additional time spent on high-risk areas. 

 

  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout the buildings.

 

  • For now, Second Home is open only to our Members. That means no guests and no members of the public in our spaces. 

 

  • We’ve added additional bike storage in all our Homes to help Members avoid public transport.

 

  • All receptionists, gardeners and cleaners will wear masks, and our team will wear gloves when handling post and deliveries.

 

  • We have Non-Contact Thermometers at reception for Members to check their temperature safely.

 

 

  • Our cafe La Despensa remains closed for now, and it’s one-in-one-out at the tea and coffee stations

 

  • All Members have been sent a more detailed version of our Covid-Secure Guidelines and can request our risk assessment at any time from their GM.

We will continue to develop our Covid-Secure measures as the advice becomes more detailed, as well as respond to Member feedback and needs.
