An Art-centric Approach to Future Cities

Collectionair has designed a residency program, sponsored by French property developer Icade, for artists and designers to foster a ‘do-tank’ and rethink the cities of tomorrow through innovative solutions to existing urban issues.

Not only does the program support the career of young artists, designers and architects but also aims to work closely with them to nurture new ideas and create innovative concepts, products and services that have the potential to improve the way cities function and citizens interact.

This project has been backed by an incredible jury of professionals from the art and design realms who have supported Collectionair on selecting and mentoring the residents, including British artist Richard Wentworth, French designer Matali Crasset and French architect Stephane Malka.
