UK Broadly Editor Zing Tsjeng is joined by writers Sharlene Teo and Daisy Johnson for an evening of reading, discussion and stoytelling.

These impressive female pioneers will share personal stories and reveal the uncelebrated and largely forgotten writers who have inspired them.

As well as hearing from some powerful female voices of London, we’ll be inviting the audience to share stories of the brilliant women that have inspired them and stimulating discussion on and how we can work together to ensure female voices are never forgotten or silenced again.

Zing Tsjeng is the UK Editor of VICE.com’s female-vertical Broadly. The channel focuses on women’s issues and has been hailed as the ‘slickest feminist platform around’.

Zing will be introducing the next two books in her Forgotten Women series: Forgotten Women The Artists and Forgotten Women The Writers, which follow The Leaders and Scientists that launched on International Women’s Day earlier this year.

This event is part of Second Home's City Life Festival. Running throughout October, the festival will explore the relationship between urban spaces, communities and identities and champion London as a place of inclusivity and diversity.
