Having interviewed Salvador Dali for Penthouse Magazine as her first assignment, Lynn Barber’s career as the interlocutor par excellence has reached long and far. From Hockney to Hurley, Nadal to Nureyev, Lynn has to be up there as one of the world’s greatest living interviewers.

In advance of the publication of her much anticipated new book, A Little Art Education, we are delighted that Lynn will be joining us for a very special event at Second Home where she will reveal the stories from her forays into the world of art – and the friendships, feuds, and lessons-learnt along the way.

Claiming no skill in art herself, she loves hanging out with artists and has derived much pleasure in interviewing some of the most prominent artistic names of the past 60 years. The subject of An Education – the hugely successful British film starring Carey Mulligan – this is a rare opportunity to hear from a bona fide living legend.

Lynn will be in conversation with another legend – the world-renowned literary agent, Clare Conville.
