On the occasion of Art Night, curator Ariella Yedgar presents a late-night showcase of Steve Reinke’s remarkable video essay Final Thoughts (2007–ongoing) in its entirety.
Some five hours in length so far, the artist will continue to make the series until his death.
The work combines a wry first-person seemingly autobiographical monologue with found footage and animation, covering disparate topics from pop culture and science, to philosophy and sex.
