Emotional intelligence has had a hard time asserting itself in a world in which cognitive intelligence is regarded so highly. Still, is the future calling on all of us to put our emotions to work?
As part of our year-long events programme in partnership with the British Embassy, hear widely acclaimed British writer and broadcaster, David Baker, in conversation with journalist and creative consultant for the World Economic Forum, David Roberts, discuss the effect of technology on human beings, and what it means for the future of work.
David Baker has worked for the Financial Times, launched the Wired UK magazine, and is a regular presenter on BBC Radio 4 and the World Service. He also teaches at The School of Life.
The talk will be followed by a drinks reception in our lounge.
