In this collaborative workshop facilitated by Designing in Color, we will explore how culture impacts how we experience and shape our neighborhoods through the investigation of values and the idea of shared community interests.
We will discuss three values – aspiration, identity, and resilience.
We’ll dig into their meaning through the lens of various public spaces in Los Angeles.
Designing in Color believes in the idea of empowering community members so that everyone knows they have a voice.
The goal of the workshop is to collaborate as a new community and define a series of important shared values that can guide us in the future.
