Through modifying habits and practices in both personal lifestyle and business, a Zero Waste approach conserves resources and reduces costs, imposing less impact on our planet’s limited resources and fragile health.

Join certified Zero Waste professional Chrise de Tournay to discuss the true costs of our behaviour and current system designs, and what changes can and need to be made to achieve a more sustainable future.

Christienne de Tournay is a California-based certified zero waste professional. She is currently the appointed Chair of the City of Berkeley’s Zero Waste Commission, has recently worked as the project manager for carpet recycling efforts mandated by the State of California, and consults with a variety of entities on policy, implementation, and sustainable business practices.
