Shuffle Festival is held every summer in the wilds of London's most urban woodland. As a pre-festival fundraiser we bring you a special and rare evening with Larry Gottheim – the New York based artist and filmmaker.

Larry's work is concerned with the theme of nature in art, the ongoing stasis and momentum, that is reflected in his films by the relationship of images to sound, time, movement and becoming.

Larry's career spans half a century, and we will be screening shorts from across this time [ Mnemosnye Mother of Muses (1986), The Red Thread (1987) and Your Television Traveller (1991)] as well as his newly releasedfeature, produced over a period of twenty-five years.

In this public screening of Chants and Dances for Hands will be screened and the Director will be in attendance to talk about his work following the screening.

Tickets are free for members and £10 non-members.

All proceeds from the evening will go towards shufflefestival.com
