Second Home invite you to celebrate the launch of the Night Tube this Friday
(19 August) with a very special night of music, film, readings, whiskey and surprise happenings at our bookshop Libreria (65 Hanbury St, London, E1 5JL).
All totally free of charge – including the whiskey!
Second Home co–founder Rohan Silva, Shuffle Festival co–founder Kate Mactiernan and the Libreria team will be up all night – and there'll be special events every hour from 8pm to 8am.
7pm – DJ set
8pm – Science writer Aarathi Prasad on "night-time medical cures"
9pm – Spitalfields tales with 'The Gentle Author'
10pm – Live music from Andy Button and his band
11pm – Spoken word performances presented by Patrick Cash
12am – Dialogue on drunkenness from best-selling author Mark Forsyth ('The Etymologicon')
1am – Insomniacs Philosophy Club
2am – Film screening of Martin Scorsese's classic film 'After Hours'
4am – Bagels and poetry
