Cheese and Butter Making Workshop with Tara Cookery

In this hands on workshop spend an evening making mozzarella, ricotta and butter from scratch. You will learn about cheese making, the history of cheese and get to know your way around a cheese board. Create delicious dishes with your homemade cheese and sit down for dinner with a spread of salads and charcuterie. There will also be a full wine pairing throughout the class created by sommelier Matt Verona. Finally take home your handmade curds, all of the recipes, a jar of Tara's homemade Spiced Apple Chutney, and even more cheese carefully selected from La Fromagerie, all in a Tara Cookery tote bag.

Tara Cookery

Tara Guinness is a professionally trained chef. With traditional French culinary training under her belt, after graduating from Leith's School of Food and Wine in 2014, she moved to India where she taught Western cooking and catering management – in remote hotel kitchens.

Once back in the UK, she worked as a freelance chef for various catering companies such as Peardrop London, and pop-ups such as The Art of Fine Dining. Moving into restaurants, she worked at Kricket, and is currently working part-time at Carousel, a restaurant in West London. At Carousel, she works with visiting chefs from all over the world and introduced to skills and techniques from a different cuisine each week. She set up Tara Cookery a year ago, teaching private and group cooking classes to people in their homes, on her passion and hobby – cheese making!
