La Despensa: Dinner with a cult hero from London's food scene

One of the most influential food writers in London is hosting a one-off supper club at Second Home.

Niki Segnit has become something of an icon to some of the most progressive chefs and food writers in London such as Jay Rayner, Nigella Lawson and Yotam Ottolenghi following her landmark book The Flavour Thesaurus. She’s just produced a follow-up: Lateral Cooking.

Niki has devised a special 3 course menu for this special event at Second Home which captures her approach to using ingredients intelligently and intuitively. She will be talking to diners about her favourite dishes and sharing techniques and ideas.
