Could our interactions shape the world we live in?

Theoretical physicist Carlo Rovelli will be in conversation with Second Home co-founder Rohan Silva to discuss his radical approach to quantum physics – revealing its profound implications for contemporary culture.

In his new book Helgoland, Rovelli makes sense of the quantum revolution which has transformed the whole of science and our very conception of the world. Stepping into uncharted territory, he weaves quantum theory with a wide spectrum of philosophical ideas, including Buddhist thought, the problem of consciousness and even the discussions between Lenin and Bogdanov at the time of the Russian revolution.

“Carlo Rovelli is a genius … What I love about his writing is that it always comes back to people interacting with other people, who are interacting with their world. This is the place where science comes to life” – Neil Gaiman “
