A community dinner bringing together people from all walks of life across North Kensington.
Local resident and chef Jude Thompson will be tapping into his Sri Lankan roots to serve up a decadent three-course Sri Lankan feast, including: coconut sambal, poppadums, fish patties, biryani and a Sri Lankan speciality dessert.
Hosted in collaboration with our west London charity partners, Rugby Portobello Trust, when you pay for you'll ticket, you also have the option to pay for a ticket for someone using RPT's services – including mums from RPT’s Magic Mums Club, local residents from RPT’s Community Café or people affected by the fire at Grenfell Tower.
The Rugby Portobello Trust has been working in North Kensington for more than 130 years, giving local children, young people and families access to opportunities they would otherwise not have and helping them achieve their potential. RPT works with more than 2,000 people each year, both at their site on Walmer Road and at various schools and public venues around the borough.
