This evening will spotlight poets who write about their experiences of navigating racial and cultural identity politics in the city.
Whether it’s their family background, the community they live in or the people they work with, their work responds to the rich tapestry of cultures we live within.
Poets include Belinda Zwahi, Will Harris, Salma El-Wardany, Caleb Femi and The Potent Whisper.
This event is part of Second Home's City Life Festival. Running throughout October, the festival will explore the relationship between urban spaces, communities and identities and champion London as a place of inclusivity and diversity.
